Correlation-Regression Analysis of Morphological-Production Traits of Wheat Varieties

AB  - The investigation of three wheat varieties (PKB Talas, BG Merkur and PKB Lepoklasa) carried out at experimental field and laboratory of Institute PKB Agroekonomik, during two years 2009 and 2010. Correlations between morphological and production traits of plants number of shoots, number of spikelets per spike, number of grains per spike, 1000 grain weight and grain weight per spike, were studied. Correlations were observed separately for three Institute PKB Agroekonomik varieties. The manner of preparing data for calculating correlations influences obtained correlation values, and these values can differ substantially. Correlations calculated based on aggregated data are higher than those based on all data. Correlations differ for different varieties, which is logical, because each variety has a different genotype and specific genes forming various interactions. Taking into account all three varieties, high and positive correlations were found between: number of grains per spike and grain weight per spike (>0.78), number of spikelets per spike and number of grains per spike (>0.79), and number of spikelets per spike and grain weight per spike (>0.73).

Study of the susceptibility of maize lines to some sulfonylurea herbicides

AB  - Maize lines are susceptible to different herbicides, what makes seed production more complicate. The susceptibility is depending in high extent on meteorological conditions. The objective of the study was to investigate genetic variability and correlation between phytotoxicity (EWRC evaluation), alterations in dry matter (DM), phenolics and soluble proteins (SP) in sets of 19 ZP lines, to nicosulfuron and foramsulfuron, with the aim to determine sensitivity of individual lines and the potential tolerance patterns during period 2006-2009. The negative impact of both herbicides reflects through DM increase, but in higher degree in nicosulfuron treatment. They also induced in average SP increase and decrease of phenolic’s content. According to different meteorological conditions present during examined four years, SP increase was followed by increased EWRC values at same lines, opposite to lines in which decrease of SP and increase of phenolic’s level could be tied to potential tolerance, what gives importance to testing of each individual maize line. Special attention must be given to application time (according to meteorological conditions and level of weed infestation). The decrease in SP level and increase of phenolics, together with lower EWRC values observed at some lines could be associated to tolerance patterns what was emphasized particularly during 2009, when visible injuries were absent.
AB  - Linije kukuruza su osetljive prema različitim herbicidima, što otežava semensku proizvodnju. Osetljivost zavisi u velikoj meri od meteoroloških uslova. Objekat ispitivanja je utvrđivanje genetičke varijabilnosti i korelacije između fitotoksičnosti (EWRC ocena) i promena suve materije (DM), fenola i rastvorljivih proteina (SP) kod 19 ZP linija prema nikosulfuronu i foramsulfuronu, sa ciljem da se utvrdi osetljivost pojedinačnih linija, kao i model potencijalne tolerantnosti, tokom perioda 2006-2009. Negativan uticaj oba herbicida se odrazio ne povećanje DM, ali u većem stepenu je na to uticao nikosulfuron. Primenjeni herbicidi su takođe uticali na povećanje prosečnog sadržaja SP i smanjenje sadržaja fenola. Zahvaljujući različitim meteorološkim uslovima prisutnim tokom četiri godine ispitivanja, povećanje SP je bilo praćeno povećanjem EWRC vrednosti kod istih linija, suprotno od linija kod kojih bi se pad SP i povećanje nivoa fenola mogli vezati za potencijalnu tolerantnost, što naglašava važnost testiranja svake pojedinačne linije. Posebna pažnja bi se trebala posvetiti vremenu upotrebe herbicida (vezano za na meteorološke uslove i zakorovljenost). Smanjenje SP i povećanje sadržaja fenola kod pojedinih linija zajedno sa nižim EWRC vrednostima bi moglo biti povezano sa njihovom tolerantnošću, što je posebno bilo naglašeno tokom 2009, kada nisu bila zabeležena vidljiva oštećenja kod biljaka.

The biological nitrogen fixation as an imperative in the tenability system

AB  - The information on the biological nitrogen fixation has been having an increasing application within the system of organic food production. The application of inoculates with certain groups of diazotrophs results in saving expensive mineral fertilizers, preserving soil biogeny, reducing financial inputs, which represents one of the major principles of sustainable agriculture. Bacterisation was performed with the liquid seed inoculum of the maize hybrid ZP SC 704 and the wheat variety Leda. The inoculum consisted of a mixture of selected diazotrophos and their highly effective strains. The following variants of mineral N fertilizers were used in the trial: control K, N1 - 80 kg ha-1, N2 - 120 kg ha-1. Values of parameters of soil biogeny (total number, abundance of diazotrophs, ammonifier, enzymic activities), were higher under bacterisation conditions in both plant species, and were accompanied with higher grain yields. There were no significant differences in value increases of investigated parameters between fertilizing variants N1 and N2 hence it can be concluded that the application of bacterisation can rationalize the utilization of mineral fertilizers, what is of a significance for sustainable agriculture.
AB  - Koncept održive poljoprivrede podrazumeva proizvodnju biološki ispravne hrane uz očuvanje agroekološke ravnoteže, gde pored uloge i značaja agrotehničkih mera, sve veći značaj imaju i mikroorganizmi. U proizvodnji zdravstevno bezbedne hrane sve se više primenjuju i saznanja o biološkoj fiksaciji azota. U istraživanjima je obavljena bakterizacija tečnim inokulumom semena kukuruza ZP SC 677. U inokulumu se nalazila smeša odabranih vrsta diazotrofa i njihovih visikoefektivnih sojeva: -Azotobacter chroococcum soj 84; 2-Azospirillum lipoferum soj 2; 3-Klebsiella planticola soj 4; 4 -1 + 2 + 3 + Bacillus megaterium + Azotobacter vinelandi + Bacillus subtilis; 5 - 1 + 3 + Bacillus megaterium + Azotobacter vineland i+ Bacillus subtilis. U ogledu je obavljeno đubrenje mineralnim azotnim đubrivima: bez đubrenja - kontrola K, N1-30, N2-60, N3-80 i N4-80 kg N.ha-1. Vrednosti pokazatelja biogenosti zemljišta (ukupan broj, brojnost Azotobactera, bakterija iz ciklusa kruženja fosfora), u uslovima bakterizacije zavisile su od doza primenjenog mineralnog azota, kao što je zavisila i visina prinosa zrna. Najveće vrednosti ispitivanih parametara utvrđene su pri đubrenju sa 60 i 90 kg N.ha-1,te se može zaključiti da bi se primenom bakterizacije mogla racionisati upotreba azotnih mineralnih đubriva, što je svakako značajno s gledišta održive poljoprivrede.

The microbiological activity in the rhizospheric soil under the soybean crop after the application of herbicides

AB  - Microorganisms use herbicide molecules as sources of biogenic elements and energy for their physiological processes. This leads to an increase in microbial biomass, which indicates a stimulating effect of herbicides on part of a microbial population. However, microorganism populations without an enzymatic system of herbicide degradation are inhibited in their development, which leads to their reduced number and enzymatic activity. We aimed to investigate the effect of herbicides on the dynamics of microorganism abundance in the rhizosphere. The following herbicides were applied: Hi- quizalafop-p-tefuril (Pantera) 48 g ha1; H2 - oxasulfuron (Dynam) 60 g ha"1; H3 - imazethapyr (Pivot) 0.8 1 ha1; H4 -clomazone (Command) 0.75 1 ha1; and H5 - control (no herbicides). The herbicides applied on the average reduced the abundance of investigated parameters, mostly up to the 90lh day, with the exception of actinomycetes, whose abundance grew as early as on the 14th day, while the abundance of fungi was raised after 30 days.
AB  - Mikroorganizmi koriste molekule herbicida kao izvore biogenih elemenata i energije za svoje fiziološke potrebe. Ovo uslovljava povećanje mikrobijalne biomase, pa se može govoriti o stimulativnom delovanju herbicidan na deo mikrobne populacije. Međutim, populacije mikroorganizama koji nemaju razvijen enzimatski sistem za razgradnju herbicida bivaju inhibirani u svom razvoju, što uslovljava smanjenu brojnost i enzimatsku aktivnost. Cilj rada je bio da se ispita uticaj herbicida na dinamiku brojnosti mikroorganizama u rizosferi soje nakon njihove primene. Primenjeni su sledeći herbicidi: Hi- kvizalofop-p-tefuril (Pantera) 48 g.a.m./ha; H2-oksasulfuron (Dynam) 60g.a.m./ha; H3-imezetapir (Pivot) 80 g.a.m./ha i H lt t- klomazon (Command) 75 g.a.m./ha i K-kontrola bez primene herbicida. Biološka aktivnost zemljišta određivana je standardnim mikrobiološkim metodama (Pochon and Tardieux 1968; Krasiljnikov 1962) 3, 14, 30 i 90-og dana nakon primene herbicida na osnovu sledećih parametara: ukupnog broja bakterija, zastupljenosti azotobaktera, aminoheterotrofa, gljiva i aktinomiceta, kao i dehidrogenazne aktivnosti. Uticaj herbicida na biogenost zemljišta zavisio je od herbicida, parametara istraživanja i vremena uzrokovanja. Primenjeni herbicidi su u prošeku smanjili brojnost ispitivanih parametara uglavnom do 90-og dana, osim aktinomiceta kod kojih je zabeleženo povećanje njihove brojnost već posle 14-og dana, a kod gljiva posle 30-dana. Kod ostalih ispitivanih grupa bakterija zabeleženo je povećanje njihove brojnosti tek 90-og dana od primene herbicida u vrednosti od 1-8%, što je relativno malo. Međutim dehidrogenazna aktivnost ni 90-og dana nije dostigla nivo kontrolne varijante. Rast gljiva i aktinomiceta bio je stimulisan u većem intenzitetu nakon tretiranja zemljišta herbicidima što ukazuje da ova grupa mikroorganizama učestvuje u njihovoj razgradnji. S obzirom da su mikrobi važna karika u sistemu zemljište-biljka ovo pokazuje potrebu da ispitivanja mikrobiološke aktivnosti u zemljištu posle primene herbicida.

The herbicides applied on the average reduced the abundance of investigated parameters, mostly up to the 90lh day, with the exception of actinomycetes, whose abundance grew as early as on the 14th day, while the abundance of fungi was raised after 30 days., Mikroorganizmi koriste molekule herbicida kao izvore biogenih elemenata i energije za svoje fiziološke potrebe. Ovo uslovljava povećanje mikrobijalne biomase, pa se može govoriti o stimulativnom delovanju herbicidan na deo mikrobne populacije. Međutim, populacije mikroorganizama koji nemaju razvijen enzimatski sistem za razgradnju herbicida bivaju inhibirani u svom razvoju, što uslovljava smanjenu brojnost i enzimatsku aktivnost. Cilj rada je bio da se ispita uticaj herbicida na dinamiku brojnosti mikroorganizama u rizosferi soje nakon njihove primene. Primenjeni su sledeći herbicidi: Hi- kvizalofop-p-tefuril (Pantera) 48 g.a.m./ha; H2-oksasulfuron (Dynam) 60g.a.m./ha; H3-imezetapir (Pivot) 80 g.a.m./ha i H lt t- klomazon (Command) 75 g.a.m./ha i K-kontrola bez primene herbicida. Biološka aktivnost zemljišta određivana je standardnim mikrobiološkim metodama (Pochon and Tardieux 1968; Krasiljnikov 1962) 3, 14, 30 i 90-og dana nakon primene herbicida na osnovu sledećih parametara: ukupnog broja bakterija, zastupljenosti azotobaktera, aminoheterotrofa, gljiva i aktinomiceta, kao i dehidrogenazne aktivnosti. Uticaj herbicida na biogenost zemljišta zavisio je od herbicida, parametara istraživanja i vremena uzrokovanja. Primenjeni herbicidi su u prošeku smanjili brojnost ispitivanih parametara uglavnom do 90-og dana, osim aktinomiceta kod kojih je zabeleženo povećanje njihove brojnost već posle 14-og dana, a kod gljiva posle 30-dana. Kod ostalih ispitivanih grupa bakterija zabeleženo je povećanje njihove brojnosti tek 90-og dana od primene herbicida u vrednosti od 1-8%, što je relativno malo. Međutim dehidrogenazna aktivnost ni 90-og dana nije dostigla nivo kontrolne varijante. Rast gljiva i aktinomiceta bio je stimulisan u većem intenzitetu nakon tretiranja zemljišta herbicidima što ukazuje da ova grupa mikroorganizama učestvuje u njihovoj razgradnji. S obzirom da su mikrobi važna karika u sistemu zemljište-biljka ovo pokazuje potrebu da ispitivanja mikrobiološke aktivnosti u zemljištu posle primene herbicida.",

AB  - Many literature data confirm that fertilizing eliminates, to the largest extent, great differences in natural productivity of various soils. Acid soils are considered one of main yield limiting factors in the plant production and are often studied. Results obtained in stationary trials with the application of different fertilization systems and acid soil improvement measures are used in the present study. According to gained results and conclusions based on them, certain fertilizations systems applied in maize cultivation on acid soils are quite sustainable, especially from the aspect of improvement of such soils and efficiency of applied fertilizers. Pseudogley improvement measures positively affected agrochemical soil properties and resulted in statistically very significant increase of maize yield in all observed locations. The effect of mineral fertilizers on maize yield was greater when they were applied together with improvement measures. At the same time, higher rates of mineral fertilizers did not increase yields in certain locations, due to poor moisture and physical properties of soils that eliminated efficiency of greater fertilizations rates.
AB  - Veći broj podataka iz literature potvrđuje da se đubrenjem u najvećoj meri eliminišu velike razlike u prirodnim i proizvodnim sposobnostima različitih zemljišta. U biljnoj proizvodnji se vrlo često ističe da je problem kiselîh zemljišta jedan od osnovnih uzroka limitiranih prinosa, vrlo je čest predmet istraživanja. U ovom radu smo koristili rezuitate dobijene izvodenjem stacionarnih ogleda sa primenom različitih sistema đubrenja i mera popravke kiselih zemljišta. Dobijeni rezultati i zaključci koji su na osnovu toga izvedeni, jasno govore o održivosti pojedinih sistema đubrenja pri gajenju kukuruza na kiselim zemljištima, a posebno u pogledu popravke ovoh zemljišta i efikasnosti primenjenih đubriva. Mere popravke pseudogleja pozitivno su uticale na agrohemijske osobine zemljišta i na statistički vrlo značajno povećanje prinosa kukuruza, na svim lokalitetima na kojima su objavljena istraživanja. Efekat mineralnih đubriva na prinos kukuruza bio je veći u interakciji sa merama popravke, pri čemu veća količina mineralnih đubriva na pojedinim lokalitetima nije uticala na povećanje prinosa usled loših vodnofizičkih osobina zemljišta, koje eliminišu efikasnost većih doza đubriva.

AB  - An appropriate choice of the ZP hybrids is a result of studies on yielding carried out under different agroecological conditions. Results on yields of nine ZP hybrids (FAO 300-700) obtained in production trials in 24 locations carried out in 2003 are presented. The highest yields were detected in the following hybrids: ZP 434, ZP 684, ZP 360 and ZP 578. Furthermore, hybrids ZP 684 and ZP 434 overyielded all hybrids under agroecological conditions of Bačka. In Banat, hybrids ZP 434 and ZP 578 were highly ranked, while the highest yields in Srem were detected in the hybrids ZP 434 and ZP 360, Similar results were obtained in the regions of Central Serbia where hybrids ZP 434 and ZP 684 overyielded all other hybrids. Stated results point out to high yielding and adaptability of hybrids of a new generation (ZP 434, ZP 578 and ZP 684). At the same time, high yields of already widely grown hybrids (ZP 677 and ZP 704) were confirmed.
AB  - Pravilnom izboru ZP hibrida prethode ispitivanja rodnosti u različitim agroekološkim uslovima. Na osnovu proizvodnih ogleda sa 24 lokaliteta izvedenih u 2003. godini prikazani su rezultati prinosa ZP hibrida (FAO 300-700). Po svojoj rodnosti posebno su se istakli hibridi ZP 434, ZP 684, ZP 360 i ZP 578. Posmatrano po različitim agroekološkim celinama na području Bačke najrodniji su bili ZP 684 i ZP 434. U Banatu su visoko rangirani ZP 434 i ZP 578, a u Sremu su najrodniji ZP 434 i ZP 360. Siični rezultati su dobijeni i u području Centraine Srbije gde su najprinosniji ZP434 i ZP684. Navedeni rezultati ukazuju na visoku rodnost i adaptîbilnost hibrida nove generacije (ZP 434, ZP 578 i ZP 684), a istovremeno se potvrđuje i visoka rodnost već provernih ZP hibrida (ZP 677 i ZP 704).

AB  - Mixed maize and legumes cropping can be an effective mode for fodder components supplying, especially for silage. Our investigations were conducted in two locations, with maize hybrid ZP SC 735 and Soya bean line l 4042. Crops were sown in four-row strips, alternately. The trials were organized in three replications and included two top fertilization variants and control. Maize grain yield, ear length and 1000 grain mass data are presented. Maize yield was increased by higher yield of border row plants in strips. Fertilization variants significantly increased 1000-kernel mass and ear length of maize. These results affirm mixed maize and Soya bean cropping.
AB  - Kukuruz je glavna komponenta u ishrani domaćih životinja, ne samo za koncentrovanu hranu, već i za silažu. Zato je cilj ovog istraživanja bio da se ispita uticaj folijarnog prihranjivanja kukuruza, na prinos u združenom usevu kukuruza i soje koja je, kao leguminoza, izvor proteina u stočnoj hrani. Gajenjem kukuruza u trakama, postiže se veći broj ivičnih biljaka kukuruza u usevu, koje zahvaljujući boljoj osvetljenosti i većem vegetacionom prostoru daju viši prinos. Jednovremenom žetvom kukuruza i soje silokombajnom, na jednostavan i ekonomičan način pristupa se pripremi silaže. Ogledi su izvedeni 2003. godine na dve lokacije: Ivanovo i Zemun Polje. Sve agrotehničke mere su obavljene na vreme i kvalitetno. Ispitivan je uticaj dve kombinacije folijarnih hraniva, koja sadrže N, P, K i važnije mikroelemente, na komponente prinosa kukuruza ZP SC 735, koji se odlikuje osobinama pogodnim za spremanje silaže. Jedno od folijarnih hraniva je bilo "Humikal univerzal", a drugo "Ferticare I". Kukuruz je prihranjivan dva puta. Prvi put u fenofazi 7-10 listova, a drugi put nakon 10 dana. Prinos kukuruza folijarno prihranjivanog sa Ferticare I je bio značajno viši u odnosu na kontrolnu varijantu bez folijarne prihrane. Apsolutna masa zrna i dužina klipa, bili su signifikantno veći, što je uticalo na značajno povećanje prinosa.
